Facade Grant Program

Downtown Businesses...are you ready for a new you?   Need a building make-over?
Then it's time to particpate in the Monticello 2019-2020 Facade Grant Program.

The Downtown Development Authority would like to thank you for investing in downtown Monticello by offering a Facade Grant Program.
  • Five Downtown businesses will be awarded a façade grant during the DDA 2019-2020 calendar year. (July 2019 to June 2020)
  • Façade grants will be awarded to businesses that spend at least $1,000.00 on painting, signage, or awnings.
  • Before façade grants can be awarded, submit before and after photographs and receipts.
  • Façade grant award is $500.00 (one award per business per calendar year).

3. Virginia Spalter (The Art Box)




The 2017-2018 Recipients:
1.  Tricia Armistead, CPA for painting building, adding new awnings, and signage
2.  Scott Smith/Big Chic for painting building, adding new awnings, and signage
3.  Adam McGinnis and Jane McGinnis for renovating, painting, awnings, and signage to Martha Jane’s Southern Cookin.
4.  Leon and Wendall Yoder for painting the Yoder Door Company building(s).
